| I think the rating of this film is completely wrong....
Some of the scenes, mostly involving the Joker are pretty much to extreme for kids under 12 to be watching even with parental consent...
What do you all think? | |

| I agree...i'd be quite disturbed if I was a young kid...though the film actually wasn't gory, didn't have swear words or gory violence | |

| I think it was correct, i mean as genghis said there was no sex, gore or profanities in the film and just because the joker's a little insane doesn't mean younger kids should be kept away from that | |

| Truly, I imagine they would have done things a lot more extreme, but they just didn't want to cut off some of their audience. I'm sure they would actually showed the Joker give Gamble (?) a Glasgow Smile directly. Would have been terrifying to watch. :p The crimes could have been worse. I think I like the approach the way they have it. | |

| I think it is right but as mentioned above it could of been made much worse to view
But it's based on a comic book and they don't want to lose a large share of their audience because of classification

| It was ok, It wasn't extremely scarring just creepy. And its a movie about a demented clown. Who wouldn't like that ? | |

Also, all the fear toxin scenes That's understandable but the fear toxin stuff is gone from this movie and so wouldn't make people jump or scared
